Dr. Farzaneh Safari is an Associate Professor at Nanjing Forestry University and a Lecturer at Changsha University of Science and Technology, China. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Mazandaran (Iran) and completed postdoctoral research in Mechanics at Hohai University (China). Her expertise includes inverse problems, fractional differential equations, and meshless methods, with 20+ Q1 SCI publications, some exceeding an impact factor of 8.0. A recipient of prestigious scholarships from Iran and China, she serves on editorial boards like Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences. With 15 years of teaching experience, she specializes in numerical analysis and matrix theory, bridging theoretical mathematics with engineering applications.
Dr. Shilpi Agarwal is an Associate Professor in Chemistry, Applied Science Cluster at UPES, Dehradun. She is an Organic Chemist having more than 18 years of experience in academics. Dr. Agarwal has earned her Ph.D. from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun in 2016. Her core research areas include waste-water treatment, renewable energy, catalysis and flame retardants. She has published 40 research papers in journals of national and international repute, 9 book chapters and 02 books. Apart of this, she has 04 patents to her credit. Along with teaching and research, she has worked at various administrative positions and in committees. She has been the Proctor of School of Engineering, UPES for 8 years and is presently working as Program Lead in Department of Chemistry, Applied Science Cluster in UPES.
Samia DAAS got her Doctorate in Institute of Health and Safety, Option Control of Industrial Risks, University of Batna 2, Algeria in 2024, and currently is working as the Associate Professor and Researcher in the Institute of Health and Safety, University of Batna2, Batna, Algeria. Her areas of interest focus on Reliability assessment, safety barriers, complex failure, oil and gas industry, risk assessment, Decision-making multicriteria, Uncertainty, Artificial Intelligence, Bayesian network and Neural network. She has published 7 journal articles, 3 conference papers and one book chapter, and participated in several academic conferences and delivered her wonderful speeches. She also serves as the Member of the Organizing Committee of some conferences and the Reviewer for some journals.
Jing Wei Teoh is an Assistant Professor at the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Heriot Watt University Malaysia (HWUM). He received his PhD in Statistics in 2024 from HWUM, and was immediately hired by HWUM as an academic staff member after his award. His research interests include statistical process control, industrial quality control, design optimisation, and machine learning. Having started his PhD in November 2021, he has now authored 14 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and proceedings of international conferences, including 3 first quartile (Q1) journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database. Throughout his PhD studies, he was awarded the “Best Paper Award” by 2 international conferences hosted by IEEE as a recognition of the novelty of his research work. He has also developed a control charting program for monitoring real-time data in an industrial project with Huawei Technologies Japan K.K., showcasing the applicability of his research in both academic and industrial settings.
