Dr. Zhanze Wang is a Postdoctoral Fellow at CUHK’s Institute of Space and Earth Information Science, specializing in advanced remote sensing technologies such as SAR, InSAR, and GNSS-based bistatic SAR. He completed his Ph.D. at Beijing Institute of Technology, focusing on 3D deformation monitoring using BeiDou satellites. Dr. Wang has authored 11 journal papers, co-invented 19 patents, and received several prestigious awards, including the Outstanding PhD Graduate award and the China National Scholarship. Currently, he leads a postdoctoral project on landslide deformation monitoring funded by a USD 96,626 grant. His innovative research and contributions make him a key figure in remote sensing and geospatial technology.
Dr. Peeyush Phogat is a Project Associate at NIScPR, CSIR, New Delhi, specializing in sodium-ion batteries and sustainable energy solutions. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Physics (2025) at Netaji Subhas University of Technology and has authored 40+ publications and 4 books. With expertise in electrochemical sensors, supercapacitors, and nanocomposites, Dr. Phogat has received several awards, including Best Paper at international conferences. He leads research on energy materials and policy, and actively collaborates globally to promote clean energy innovation.
Yuchen Wang received his B.Sc. degree (2017) and Ph.D. degree (2023) from the School of Electrical Engineering at Southeast University, Nanjing, China. Since April 2024, he is with the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath, as a Research Associate. During the study period in Southeast University, his research interest was design and integration of embedded magnetic encoder (EME) in PMSM, which has been successfully applied in four-wheel independent drive vehicle. At the University of Bath, he was responsible for the design of cryogenic inverter for superconducting motor. His future work will focus on the integration of electrical motor drive system, specifically the interaction between motor, drive and sensor.As an authorized leader in Southeast University, he led groups to prepare several research proposals and got over £500,000 funding. Apart from teaching assistant experience, he assisted the supervisors for two PhDs and several postgraduates in Southeast University, and for two PhDs in University of Bath. By Aug. 2024, he has published 7 journal papers (JCR Q1) as principle author, 3 journal papers (JCR Q1) as main contributor and got 4 authorized patents. He is also the reviewer of many journals, including IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, etc.
Yuhan Zhang is a doctoral candidate in Artificial Intelligence at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), focusing on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning. He holds a Master’s in Communication Engineering from MUST and a Bachelor’s from Tianjin University of Technology. With industry experience as an Algorithm Engineer, Yuhan has worked on AI solutions for power grid detection, system optimization, and health code recognition. His research includes underwater image enhancement and Chinese herbal medicine recognition, with publications in IEEE journals. He has also won Second Prize in the "HUAWEI Cup" National Mathematical Contest and is recognized as a "Future Technology Luminary."
Mr. Yusuf Abdallah Juma Asam is a computer vision researcher and MSc candidate in Computer Science at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (China), holding a 91.2% CGPA. A top-ranked BSc graduate from Al-Zaiem Al-Azhari University (Sudan), his work includes pioneering AI solutions for underwater image classification, notably "ADL-Net" (2025). With experience as a system engineer at Sudan’s Taxation Chamber and teaching roles, he has earned multiple academic awards, including three University Highest CGPA honors. Fluent in four languages and active in humanitarian efforts like refugee camp coordination, his expertise in AI and robotics positions him as a dynamic innovator for technology-driven discussions.
