Prof. Qiuhong Zhao is a tenured professor in the School of Economics and Management at Beihang University, China. She received her Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Beihang University in 2002. Her research interests cover evaluation and optimization of complex systems, metaheuristic methods for combinatorial and global optimization, supply chain and logistics management, location–transportation–inventory integration, and risk analysis and emergency management. She has led numerous research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), including projects on collaborative air‑ground emergency resource stockpiling and dispatch, dynamic reserve strategies for food and medical strategic materials, and supply chain coordination with performance evaluation. She has published over 100 papers in leading international journals such as European Journal of Operational Research, Transportation Research Part E, IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation, and Risk Analysis. She serves as Area Editor (Logistics and Inventory Systems) for Computers and Industrial Engineering and Associate Editor for Sustainable Operations and Computers, and is a Standing Director of the Logistics Society of China. Her research has made significant contributions to emergency resource management, supply chain coordination, and sustainable operations.
