Mr. Tanmoy Halder /Ph.D. candidate

Mr. Tanmoy Halder is a Ph.D. candidate in Mining Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, where he also received his M.S. in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering with a CGPA of 8.39/10. His research interests span microwave remote sensing, polarimetric and interferometric SAR (Pol-InSAR), change detection, GNSS signal processing, and EEG-based brain-computer interfaces. He has authored/co-authored over 40 papers in high-impact journals and conferences, including IEEE Communications Surveys & TutorialsIEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS)eNeuro, and Springer book chapters. He has received best paper awards at ICRCCV 2022 and ACCS 2015. He has contributed to multiple ISRO-sponsored projects on SAR/InSAR applications and urban change monitoring. His interdisciplinary work integrates satellite remote sensing, signal processing, and cognitive neuroscience.
