Dr. Deep Upadhyaya is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Government Engineering College, Godhra, Gujarat, India. He received his Ph.D. from Gujarat Technological University in 2024. His research interests include construction project management, health and safety management, construction scheduling, and innovative construction materials and techniques. He has published multiple papers in SCOPUS/Web of Science-indexed journals such as Construction Economics and Building and Innovative Infrastructure Solutions (Springer Nature), and has authored two books. He holds one design patent, serves as a reviewer for several international journals, and has been a member of advisory committees for international conferences. He has supervised multiple M.Tech. dissertations and registered as a Ph.D. supervisor at Gujarat Technological University. His work integrates engineering management, legal perspectives, and data-driven approaches, contributing meaningfully to safety and efficiency improvements in the Indian construction sector.
